My electricity and gas bills are jumping up a lot. How do I save money ?

I was just looking at my power and gas bill. It is up a fair bit year on year. Getting ridiculous. Can anyone suggest how to save money ? We are in NSW.

I have just gone down the rabbit hole. We are with AGL in NSW. Worthwhile to talk to them and compare. If you are with AGL, ask them about the Energy Select plan. Around 14% saving vs. our existing plan. If you are with other electricity companies, suspect it works more or less the same. Just call them up and push them to do better.
