River – A Trusted Carpenter for Roofing & Plastering

After every heavy downpour during the wet season, my ceiling would show signs of water damage, and I was finding it incredibly difficult to find someone who could handle both the roof repairs and the internal plastering. River from CBS took care of the entire job from start to finish, which made the whole process so much easier.

He explained exactly what had caused the leak and talked me through the repair process before any work began. The old roof sheets and battens were replaced where needed, everything was resealed properly, and I finally had confidence that the roof would hold up through future storms.

Once the roof was repaired, River removed the damaged gyprock ceiling, installed new gyprock, plastered the joins, skim-coated the entire repaired area, and sanded everything back to a smooth finish. The repair blends in beautifully, and you wouldn't even know there had been damage.

Throughout the project, River's communication was fantastic. He always arrived when he said he would, kept me updated on progress, worked efficiently, and left everything clean and tidy. The workmanship was outstanding, and considering the amount of work involved, I thought $1,980 was excellent value for money.

It's hard to find someone who genuinely cares about doing the job properly, but River certainly does. His attention to detail, honesty and quality workmanship gave me complete confidence, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend CBS to anyone looking for a reliable, skilled and trustworthy carpenter.
